Songs I'm Thankful For

Luke Bryan - “What She Wants Tonight”

Luke never disappoints, and his new single is no exception. This single is so different from most of the music that he releases, it’s slow and sensual with powerful lyrics. LOVE this song.

Cole Swindell - “Love You Too Late”

This song is a classic. Cole always knows how to get to our soft spots and this track gets me every time. It’s one of those songs that I can never skip, and always finds its way onto my playlists.

Mitchell Tenpenny - “Alcohol You Later”

This song has blown up this year, and for good reason. The lyrics are filled with raw emotion and paired with catchy backbeats. This song stays stuck in my head, and I’m not mad about it…although I’m being VERY patient as I wait for him to finally release “I Don’t Go To Church Anymore” (c’mon, M10!!)

Maren Morris - “Girl”

Maren just won the 2019 CMA Award for Best Album, and the reason is clear. This song is so infectious and although Maren wrote it to herself, originally, the rest of us can’t get enough of it.

Carly Pearce - “I Hope You’re Happy Now”

If you haven’t heard this song yet, you’re missing out. Lee Brice joins Carly for a heartfelt new single that makes us feel all the emotions, and we are loving it.

Steve Moakler - “Push”

“I ain’t afraid to push” this song onto everyone I know. Look, we all know I’m a big Steve Moakler fan. His upcoming album, Blue Jeans is going to be incredible if it’s anything like the couple songs he’s been putting out.

Candi Carpenter - “The Astronaut”

This song is out-of-this-world (see what I did there?). Mentored by the queen of country, Dolly Parton, Candi is making waves in all the best ways. This song will have you feeling like a philosopher with all the big questions that it proposes.

Haley & Michaels - “Hail Mary”

You probably recognize Haley & Michaels because they were our house band for a week on the radio show...or maybe because “Hail Mary” is the official song of the 49ers (it’s really a toss up).

Levi Hummon ft. Runaway June - “Cowboy Take Me Away”

This is a really special 20th anniversary version of this song.  Levi’s dad wrote this classic track and now his son, teamed up with killer trio Runaway June, is honoring Dad and the song with his new take on it.  Love the collaborative arrangement on this.

Gone West - “Gone West (Live)”

California. Sunshine. Palm Trees. Gorgeous harmony. Catchy beat. You’re gonna fall into a tryptophane-induced nap with this still playing in your head!
